DEBORA MUSZKAT

Design

Design has always been a part of Debora Muszkat’s career — long before glass became her main poetic subject. In the early 1980s, while still a student, she designed furniture out of recycled cardboard with college friends, created her own accessories, and reinvented everyday objects. Unable to find items on the market that reflected her taste or values, she began to build her own visual universe — functional, inventive, and affective.
